Doesn't Anyone Here or at Norton/Symantec Realize How Outrageous The FF NS Problem Has Become???

Where's The Outrage?

This has become absurd.

FF users are getting Royally Screwed.

It's a disgrace for a major publicly trade corporation with billions in assets to apparently be so inept or uncaring about its customers and their money to not make a larger staff and greater resources available for Norton Tech to fix this any time soon.

NS is currently being sold under false pretenses and misleading labeling.

Doesn't anyone at Symantec get it?? This is borderline illegal behavior.

"I'm late, I'm late for
A very important date.
No time to say hello, good-bye,
I'm late, I'm late, I'm late
I'm late and when I wave,
I lose the time I save.
My fuzzy ears and whiskers
Took me too much time to shave.
I run and then I hop, hop, hop,
I wish that I could fly.
There's danger if I dare to
Stop and here's a reason why:
I'm over-due, I'm in a rabbit stew.
Can't even say good-bye,
Hello, I'm late, I'm late, I'm late."

Norton Has No Immunity Here:

Norton Can Not Make Itself Immune from an Action By The Federal Trade Commission for Misleading Advertising.

Picture this: You are the typical unacknowledged consumer who uses Firefox and has been doing so for 15 years. A friend tells you that NS offers excellent protection, so you buy it. You install it and discover for the first time that it is not fully compatible with Firefox. Yeah I know about refunds, but meanwhile this consumer is sitting with a defective product he/she can't use and has to go through the refund hassle, and gawd only knows when he will get a check from Norton. No big box store will refund an opened box of software. At best they will replace it. So this kid has to go out and shine another 50 pairs of shoes to buy another A/V product. IS THAT FAIR?

LIKE THE FDA OFTEN REQUIRES NORTON NEEDS TO PUT A "BLACK BOX WARNING" ON ITS PACKAGING AND ADVERTISING ABOUT ITS DEFICIENCIES WITH FIRE FOX. IT"S THE RIGHT THING TO DO.

And it may not be immune from a private class action (of course the only persons who benefit from a class action are the lawyers)

IMHO anyone who uses IE or Chrome is ignorant. Sorry to offend.

Delete this post, scrub portions of it/sanitize it/snip parts of it, perma-ban me from the Norton Forums. I have 600 days left on my NS that I can't use and I don't give a damn anymore.
