Downgrade from Norton Internet Security to Norton Antivirus, is reinstall needed?

I have Norton Internet Security installed on my computer. But the license has expired. I now want only Norton AntiVirus and have purchased a new license key for Norton AntiVirus.

 

Can I use this key in my Norton Internet Security installation? Or would I need to uninstall the Norton Internet Security and the install the Norton AntiVirus?

 

Also, if I use the key in the existing intallation of Norton Internet Security (assuming it is possible), then what will be my renewal date, like will my one year start from today or from the day the Norton Internet Security license expired?
