I am having issues with Win 8 Pro Action Center saying both firewall and anti-virus are n ot running, and with NIS 2013 latest version looking like it really isn't running. Having read a lot of similar posts about this problem and seeing no obvius solutions except for running the latest 2012 version of NIS. It's just not acceptable to have 2013 stop working like it is.
I have about 400 days left on my sub, but cannot locate a place to download the NIS 2012 product. But the few posts I've seen where people had this problem and reverted to the earlier version seem to be running normally, which is all I want, at least while the problem gets addressed.
I'm assuming my key will work with the earlier version, just don't know where to get copy; everything I find online links me to the 2013 version.
