Downgrade to NIS2009

I have a valid subscription (358 days) of N360 3.0 (greek version) and I want to go back to NIS2009. Is that possible to happen and how?

Welcome to the Norton Community

You cannot use a Norton 360 subscription on NIS2009. You will have to have a valid NIS 2009 subscription.

Hhhhh, I thought it was easy if I was downloading a trial version and then entering my key of N360. Are you sure this isn’t correct?

A Norton 360 key is not valid for NIS.

Hi Juanita00,

If you don't want to use Norton 360, then get the refund for it as early as possible by contacting the Symantec Customer Services:

http://www.symantec.com/en/uk/norton/support/contact/contact.jsp?pvid=cs

Chat may give you a faster response. Then you can purchase a fresh copy of NIS 2009. In meantime, you can uninstall your Norton 360 3.0 by using Norton Removal Tool. You can download the removal tool from this LINK. Run the tool multiple times(2-3 times) to make sure that all the components of Norton 360 are uninstalled. After that, you can install a trialware of NIS 2009 and activate it using the Product Key once you complete the purchase.
