Download Insight.

Hi,

Apologies if this has been posted before, but I have a few questions about NIS 2011 (version 18.6.0.29) and it's download insight, on my PC running Windows 7 SP1 32-bit, using FireFox 5.0.

I downloaded the latest version of CCleaner - when the file was downloaded, NIS 2011 displayed a little pop-up in the bottom right hand corner with a green checkmark (indicating the file was safe).  I manually scanned the file using NIS 2011 for any virsues, then ran the file and upgraded my version of CCleaner.

Now, I have read a few threads lately on here, and some people are saying that when they download a file, the little pop-up with the green checkmark appears.  And then, when they double-click the file to run it, another pop-up appears with all the info about the file (how many people use it, how old the file is, when it was released etc).

I only get the pop-up with all the info about the file (how old it is, how many users use it etc) if I right click on the file (manually) and select Norton File Insight.

I am confused as to what is to appear when I download a file.  Should I get; two pop-ups, one being the green checkmark being displayed in the bottom right-hand corner and another telling me where I downloaded the file, how old it is, how many users use the file etc?  Or should I just get the little pop-up in the bottom right-hand corner with the green checkmark?

Thanks for any help,

J_W :)
