A strange thing happened on the way to the forum.
Couldn't update through menu support. Downloaded NIS 2012 via trialware link earlier. Webpage indicated 75MB. Download ended up 104MB, which is the same as the current link for the NIS2012.
After install over NIS 2011, reconnected to internet to run liveupdate. Download indicated another 75MB, which coincidentally matches the trialware link webpage.
