Greetings, I purchased the downloadable version of Ghost 14 from your store, however the .iso file needed to create a recovery disk was not part of the download, nor was it a visible option that I could see.
On the advice in this forum I rechecked my order page, and while I could download the .exe file to install Ghost 14 again if I wanted, there was no link to download the .iso file.
Numerous searches of your website came up empty. Google searches all referred me several third party tech sites, there appears to be no shortage of customers like myself that downloaded this software from your store, only to come up empty on the .iso. These tech forums referred people to download it from peer to peer sites, without one reference in the tech forums that I found to a hard link provided by the manufacturer for said .iso file. Which leads me to believe no such thing exists?
So, I engaged technical support, and asked for the link for this file, instead their solution was to take over my PC and just download the file themselves (I needed them for that?). When I asked this person about a link for this .iso, he refused to provide it for and just typed something about how it was on his database.
Anyway, I have everything I need now, and created a custom recovery CD. But, sheesh! Did I have to go through all that? Couldn't this file have been included in the original download? Or maybe as a separate link, right next to the link for the main download? (or anyhwere on that page for that matter, I read every word on my order page, nope no link for the .iso)
This really seemed like a horrible waste of 2-3 hours trying to complete what should have been a minor step in setting up my program. Just a link to that .iso and I would have been golden. Did I really need tech support for that .iso?
OK. Rant over. The favor of a reply would be appreciated.
