Hi, Glad to hear NIS 2010 has now been released officially and anxious to try it out.
I was using the public beta for quite some time but stopped using it and uninstalled it due to the bugs and silent deactivation which exposed my PC to security threats without warning.
I'm sure this has now been solved but am left scratching my head as to how to download the full program. I have a licence for NIS 2009 with 60 days remaining but when i try and download the trial it nags me for my credit card details etc ( not OK as I don't want to have to go throught he stupid steps of cancelling the trial agreement to stop them debiting my card 30 days later for something I already have paid for, nor do I want my card earmarked for funds I have paid for )
The only solution seem to be to use the download manager ( which of course won't work unless you already have a Norton product installed on it and as no Norton product with Windows 7 until today I don't have 1 installed )
So i guess the question is this - do I have to go through the laborious task of reinstalling NIS 2009 on my windows 7 system and get the heuristic driver error messages etc and then update to NIS 2010 or do I preinstall a Norton Beta 2010 in order to get the new program version ?
Neither solution seems very satisfactory to me - Norton should provide a download link to its registered paid up customers not make them jump through hoops ( especially hoops with bugs in them )
Do I take it Norton is not providing any download links for licenced customers to manually download this product ?
