Drive Genius 6.2 Disabled/Deleted by Norton 360 Deluxe

A few days ago, Norton 360 Deluxe for Mac decided to delete and disable my installation of Drive Genius 6.2.  It will not even allow me to download the installation program from the Prosoft Engineering web site as it deletes the DMG file immediately.  I temporarily disabled Norton to re-install Drive Genius, however, once I re-enabled Norton, the same thing happened.

How can I set Norton to run concurrently with Drive Genius?  There are features that I use on both applications.

FWIW!! Turning off Download Intelligence is definitely NOT a good idea. I'm pointing to the fact that Windows and Norton 360 has the same detections as on MAC. You COULD become infected in that process, the blame for it would then indeed lie with the suggestion here to disable DI. Even with DI disabled, when you attempt to install the program Norton may still nail its files as malicious. Submit to LifeLock and wait for those results.

@macdevil

What to do after you submit a false positive?
After submitting the file, wait until you receive the confirmation email from NortonLifeLock. In the mean time, you can try updating the definitions and scan the incorrectly detected file or application at frequent intervals.
Turn off Download Intelligence
Exclude files or folders from scan on Mac

Hello macdevil. I downloaded the program you're speaking of from the site you gave us. The following occured, and occured NOT during download but during an initial "on demand scan". Although I am running Windows Norton should give the basic same results when threats are detected.

drive genius 6.2 scan.pngSince Norton has removed the file I cannot check it on Virus Total for you. I would not trust this program.
