Driver/Updater - Bug? Got Billed Even Though I canceled it during trial period

Sometime about 6 mos ago or so, I downloaded and tried Norton's Driver/Updater, thinking it might be a good idea.

I tried it once, but the only three apps it found were already auto-updating, so it was useless for me.

I called and canceled it.

I did see a couple of email messages warning me that I was about to be billed for it, but I said to myself, that couldn't be, so I canceled it. Hah!

A few days ago, they billed me for the full subscription even though I supposedly canceled.

I had to call again and get a refund.

I hate to call support and their support wins my award for the best hidden support phone number. Way better hidden than Amazon.

Bottom Line:

They must have a bug in their system that billed me, or I was canceled during the trial period, and it was handled wrong. This is just a warning that this could happen to you if you purchase something and cancel it during a trial period.
