Driver Updater keeps Updating same old drivers supposedly already updated

Issue abstract: Repeat notification and success install of same drivers with update of more than 6 months old

Detailed description: I keep getting notifications to update drivers that are noted as the latest version being more than 6 months old. I make the updates and get a successful update BUT a few days later I get the same thing for the same drivers. WHY?

Product & version number: 26.3 (build 6519)

OS details: Windows 11

What is the error message you are seeing? Required update of drivers that are several months old. I had the same drivers updated several times already. Please see date of the driver release dates.

After you run Driver Updater to you check the “See overview” to see if the drivers were actually updated?

Many here feel it is best not to use 3rd party driver updaters and just use Windows Update and go to your computer manufacturer’s website to get drivers specific to your system.

Thanks! I finally had a chance to work through that. It does not say when it was updated though strangely I had another one come up (Microsoft UEFO-Compliant System, Update available 10.0.261008115 (released June 20, 2006) that is like 20 years ago. Seems that this tool is basically out-of-date / useless? :unamused_face: :blush:
