Could anyone help me with the problem I have .I upgraded from N360 v1 to v2.When I click on “my network”,I sometimes get the message “Drivers on your network are not responding”.As I say, this happens sometimes, other when it does work o.k.,I get the “PC AT RISK”,which I see from these forums, other people get as well.I’ve contacted NORTON and they have got me to try various things, but none of them have worked and I have not heard from them now for almost 2 weeks.I ran “Intelligent updater”,keep running live updates, did a “SCANstub.exe /fixall”,at the start of all this I ran the Norton Removal Toolbefore installing v2 from a link Norton gave me.As I say,I think Norton have given up on me.Any help please.
Thanks very much for your reply.I’m new to this game but I’ll try my best to give you the required information. My laptop is an Advent 7201 running Vista Home Premium.I connect to the Internet via the BT Home Hub.I had Norton 360 installed and upgraded recently to version 2.I don’t know what network cards are being used and I don’t know what NIC’s are.Sorry to be so vague.
I think I know what you mean now.The wireless on my computer are Ralink Wireless LAN Card v2 and Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC.I checked for updates and they are both up to date.
Just looking at the site today for Ralink Wireless LAN Card and Realtek, it appears that they have recently released new drivers for some models:
http://www.ralinktech.com/ralink/Home/Support/Windows.html
Can you confirm that the models you have installed has the latest drivers as listed on these sites? I apologize for asking again, however it would be best to get get the latest software if it is available.
Additionally, it may also be a good idea to contact our Customer Support team through the product's Help & Support link. Or you can visit the below site to contact our free Customer Support:

If you have already done this and they could not resolve your issue, please let us know. If this is the case, please provide as many details as possible. Thanks!
Thanks for your reply. As far as I can ascertain, all my drivers are up to date.I clicked control panel, then devices and checked they were up to date .Is this the correct way to do it?
I visited the site you gave me the link to but couldn't find anything to help me.
I've already contacted Symantec through the Help and Support link.It is them who got me to try various things,e.g.Intelligent updater ,scanstub.exe /fixall,etc.,but none of their help and advice has worked. It is now over 2 weeks since they contacted me and I think they have given up.
The problem is as follows:my daughters laptop and my laptop both connect through the BT Home Hub,either via ethernet cable or wirelessly as the mood takes us.We both upgraded to Norton 360 v2 a few weeks ago,my daughter from NIS2008,and me from Norton 360 v1.When we click on the "my network" link on the main page, and through to the Network Security Map,my daughter gets the message "PC at risk".When I click on the "my network" link,I usually get the message "drivers on your network are not responding".On the odd occasion,I get the same as my daughter.
My laptop is an Advent 7201 running Vista Home premium,my daughters a Fujitsu Siemens running Vista Home Basic.
I can't think what else to tell you so please let me know what other information you require.
Thanks again.
Can you provide any information about the systems on your network map, which operating systems they are running, and which Network Cards are on these machines? You may want to ensure that you have the latest drivers for the NICs as well. Thanks!
