Dual boot systems..... who uses them?

Oh well -- it is possible to add XP later even as a dual boot and while it is more complex (I've not done it) EasyBCD has a specific procedure for doing it that takes you through the change in the bootloading.

<< 3) Apparently they do not ship the cooling fan with the CPU,so a minor delay before I can try out my new PC....  >>

In the past, the difference between buying an OEM and a Retail version but with the very newest I don't know any more.

It certainly was a disappointment as I was looking forward to trying something new.

I have a backed up copy of my current XP system (minus all the current junk that I have installed) by the Acronis software. Could I use that to install XP?

The service guy assumed it came with it, but was caught out by not reading the fine print on the sales website.Done that before myself.:smileytongue: The cooling fan is now in "transit"...that to me is a scary term as it can mean many things and have many different outcomes.:smileywink:

I am looking forward to the new system...going from a 40GB HD with only 5% remaining space, to a 1 TB HD will be liberating!
