A high schooler in Indiana sent his entire school a porn photo via the email account of a fellow student. His cyberbullying exploit came to an abrupt halt when, after receiving a report of the offensive image, an alert IT admin recalled the email, discovered the computer the email was sent from and alerted the administration.
The administration then turned to the "over 90" security cameras and discovered one was positioned in direct view of the computer used to send the offensive email. The cyberbully was identified from his image on the tape and he has been suspended from the school for at least 10 days while the board considers expelling him entirely.
His punishment may not end there. Two additional criminal offenses are being considered by the local district attorney: one for hacking the classmate's email account (computer trespassing) and the other for sending inappropriate and harmful materials to minors.
The student thought the whole thing was initially a big "joke" which is the typical defense of a bully. I guess the joke's on him.
