Dumb Question about Google Chrome

I'm sure this is a dumb question but I wanted to make sure before I do anything.

 

I have 2010 Internet Security installed on my computer and I currently use Internet Explorer as my browser.  If I downloaded Google Chrome and started using it, does my Norton security work with it just as it did with IE?

Some features like Identity Safe and Safe Web won't be supported. However files that you download will be scanned by Auto-Protect so you can continue using Chrome with some plug-ins installed.
