Does anyone have the latest version of DVD Downloader (version 2.2.07) ?
I've tried to remove & reinstall numerous times using 2 uninstaller programs, but it still fails within seconds of downloading a video or audio. I think I have all the Norton settings to allow it access, just won't work right
Any suggestions or ideas?

I already use that, and even when installing the program.
A Semi SIde-issue: For deep down uninstalling I use the free Revo Uninstaller I like it becuse first of all it runs the program you want to remove's own uninstaller and then gives you the option to carry out different levels of search for remnants which it displays and always amazes me to see how much that in-program uninstaller leaves behind.
Just study the displays as it goes from stage to stage -- I find it easy to miss clicking on the button which marks all the specific display on the screen to be deleted .... but it does then ask you "do you really want not to delete? "!
