E mail Alerts being recieved at early hours of the night when child is sleeping

Hello, I did read a similar post to this but it did not really solve my issue.  NOF is sending me alerts that blocked web sites are being visited on my sons laptop when he is not even on the computer.  His bed time is 8:00pm and the alerts are saying he is on the system at 11:59pm and at times at 2:3am and even at 5:57am.  Also I have set the curfew timer and it locks his pc, or the appearance that it is locked, at 8:00pm.

Now with the other similar post the lady said she had McAfee and the tech support person said that McAfee may be running some background task that NOF may take as activity on the system.  I do not have McAfee, I have Norton Internet Security.  Now as far as I know Norton Online Family only monitors the online activity not system wide activity, or am I mistaken.......can these alerts that I am recieving be caused by  Norton Internet Security running some type of task or idle scan?  But why would the alert specifically tell me that a blocked web site was visited, in other words, internet activity.  The E Mail alerts comes from NOF and it lists the blocked web site.  Now mind you that my sons has his home page set to that blocked web site and I do understand that everytime he goes on the internet it will trigger an alert due to his home page being the blocked web site, Facebook.  He can navigate away from it and browse with no problem and no further alerts....

So what could be causing these Alerts in the middle of the night?  My sons laptop is running Windows 7 home premium....I have Norton Internet Security installed as well as Norton Online Family, with curfew timing on.  I would like some resolution to the issue before I approach my son and begin questioning him on why he is on the pc after curfew hours.   Also since I have the curfew timing on, is there anyway I can stop him from logging back in for those 60 seconds each time....or is the default 3 times before he is asked for email and password to NOF?

Any help would be appreciated................
