I have a Droid-x running gingerbread with an e-mail virus. It keeps sending out spam messages to everyone in my comcast.net e-mail but not my g-mail (which from what I understand in the Android system is a different app). I purchased and installed Norton for Android and it says I have no viruses. I have confirmed that it is my 'droid and not my PC by disabling the outgoing server on my 'droid and the spam stops. I really would hate to have to change over to g-mail after a decade with my old service, just because of a stupid virus.
