Early renewal for a better price

Hi All,

Hope you are enjoying the nice weekend!

on October 6 my subscription will expire (NSwB for 10 devices). since I would like to get the best price for renewing, and in the past I remember that the given price for auto-renewal was higher than many special offer I found on Norton website!  (I would expect that the renewal price would reflect the best possible price for loyal customers? ........What is your advise for me to do?

Additionally I got an email offering me to subscribe from within the email and I would get Norton Utility 16 (3 PC) free. The only thing that I am suspicious about, is that the email I got was in my Junk mail file? Is this a fake email? or is there really such a promotion?

Thanks for any suggestion and hints.

Hi !

Just tried to purchase a new subscription from the offer on the Norton site, sad unfortunately my country is not eligible for this offer!  I have to wait for the renewal and see what price I get, additionally I will look for retailers.

Thanks for your help and yes Rab

Thanks for the answers and clarification.

Frequently asked questions about Norton renewal and new product purchases.
1) Note: New subscription clock begins when your purchase is completed for online payments, (or otherwise, when your payment is received).  See FAQ and *Important pricing terms, offer details and disclosures, bottom of page: http://us.norton.com/
2) As soon as 'renewal' is purchased, the additional subscription time is added to the existing time. The customer doesn't need to enter a key or anything, the current key just gets updated.
3) New product via direct sales or third party sales (as opposed to renewing the license for an existing product, aka 'renewal'), follows the rules in 1) Note:.
Norton product key or renewal code.

Does this email come from Norton? See the Norton KB article here.

If you are thinking of making a new purchase, be sure you go into your Norton account and turn off the automatic renewal.

Unfortunately, the renewal price is often more expensive than purchasing a new subscription, either from Norton or shopping around at reputable retailers. Be sure you are getting the price for the same product. In your case Norton Security Premium (used to be called NSwB).

If you can find a better price, you can make the purchase now, enter your new product key, then contact Norton Support via chat and ask them to add the remaining time from your older subscription.
