Email In Scanning was somehow turned off when I restarted my computer. I thought “Okay, I’ll just put it back on.” Well, I can’t for some reason. I go to the Internet Settings, Email Scanning, and Email In Scanning is off. I try to checkmark it on but it freezes the window. I can still access the main Norton window. the Frozen box then becomes unresponsive and when I close it, Norton as a whole crashes. When I try to reboot it from my desktop icon I am sent to symnatec support page and get a message that says there was unknown error. I have to reboot the system, and the problem continues. Any ideas? (I have already uninstalled Norton and reinstalled. that was a temporary fix for about 1 hour.)
