Email Notifications not working

Hi,

 

I have just configured the OnlineFamily settings and everything is working well except for the email notifcations. The activities are being logged correctly and the Alerts are showing up in the Home page of the web service, but no emails have come through in the hour or so that I have been testing this and trying to solve it.

 

Does anyone know why this might be?
