This is our cancellation department number and asks nortons security to cancel the service.

 

If you wish to cancel the contract otherwise the contract will be renewed automatically and the money will be debited from your account and once it is debited from your bank account or your debit or credit card & you will be receiving the service call from the service team to give you the services. If you are unsatisfied with the services then we will instantly refund you your money back.

I don't know if Norton wants them or not. I tried on line chat which is sad. Wait time started at 17 min, then it got down to 4 then went back up to 10, etc. etc. etc.

Verify that an email you receive from Norton is legitimate

Total scam.  There is nothing to be worried about.  And if you read it again, you will notice the spelling and punctuation errors.  Also, that was a chain email sent to several people at the same time.  Norton doesn't do that.  Just delete the emails and move on.  You're safe.
