Emails from Norton re product expiry.

My 2011 NIS expired two weeks ago. Shortly before that date I purchased a retail copy of the 2012 version at Staples. I installed it on the day the old one ran out and registered it online with Symantec that day.

Everything is working fine. Live update right now indicates it is only 5 minutes old.

However, approximately one week ago I received an email from Norton advising that my computer was at risk as my program had expired. Today I received the second notice via email. The email cannot be replied to.

I assume everything is AOK with the product and my pc.

Question - how do I get the emails turned off?

Following is an excerpt from today's message.
