Over the coming months, devices running Android 6.x or 7.x will no longer receive any new product, service, or security updates for the following Norton apps:
- Norton 360 app or Norton Mobile Security
- Norton Secure VPN
- Norton App Lock
- Norton Clean
- Norton Family
You can continue using the Norton apps on your device with Android 6.x or 7.x. However, you will not be able to update the Norton apps to the newer releases that include product and service updates and security fixes.
For the best product and service experience, we recommend that you update your Android version to 8.x or later. Android 8.x or later provides the system updates that allow us to deliver high-quality products, services, and security for our customers in future releases.
