I keep getting a notification from Norton that my Intel drivers are out of date. However, whenever I use the Intel Driver Support Assistant and do a system scan it says that my drivers are all up to date.
The Norton window persists. Can someone at Norton explain this to me?
@Daken_Engmann Regardless of the OS you are using, Driver Updater demands EXTREME CAUTION when using it. It has rendered some users with devices that are not bootable. Data loss and time consuming recovery have occurred. My personal recommendations are:
-Remove DU and do not use it for any reason. With modern operation systems utilities are not needed, they are mostly snake oil.
-Use Windows Update and your OEM websites for your software and driver updates. Microsoft works with vendors to deliver tested drivers, firmware and software updates that are more trustworthy.
