Yesterday, while using NIS2011 to scan some files, I got the dreaded "Error 3038,103", after trying several times to re-scan my files I gave up and checked out Norton's support pages which recommended uninstall and then re-install.
So this is what I did, I also had to sacrifice my Norton Utilities V14.5 but I am now back up and running with both NIS and NU.
However, I would like to know what could cause this terrible error, I didn't do anything out of the ordinary (in fact, I have a strict personal computer policy not to do anything whacky) and I don't let anyone else use my PC.
So what could cause NIS2011 to generate this error?
