The following Chat Session #'s show the times since June2014 of Chat sessions computer sharing sessions that uninstalled and reinstalled NIS all those times and promises of "It's Fixed". It is not as of yesterday 10/30/2014 at 2130hr EDT.

PROBLEM: ERROR CODE 3038,104
Despite Norton globe icon with green checkmark in Tool bar and Status sez OK here is what is happening:
Live Update encounters some problem. See file attachments below: LU initialization freezes, locks upi computer. all scheduled cans and Live Update stops BUT Norton globe with green checkmark sez Status OK in Tool Bar.
NIS,360,NAV program is uninstalled and reinstalled by Norton Support 6 times yet will fail almost daily when an Update requires a RESTART!!!!!!
If you restart..Norton runs fine!!
Problem never gets escalated as Support states, Chats never get copied because Norton sez "Greetings fron Norton Support,
Our apologies that the chat session for case#xxxxxxxx was disconnected by support agent before resolution was confirmed." So they have no paper trail!!! And no copy was sent to me as requested and confirmed by Support Agent!
