Error 8506,422

I keep getting error 8506,422. I have reinstalled Norton 4 times now. I also did a service call 04438803 and the gentleman on the phone also reinstalled, but when he did it I got a Blue screen, that said a resent software install was bad. The gentleman on the phone said that mt XP was bad and I had to reinstall. I did and after 2 days of reinstalling all my software and then reinstalling Norton it did the same thing. It is fine till it updates and then the 8506,422 starts all over again.

Can anyone help?
