Error : Cannot connect to Norton Server

Greetings.

Have a problem with Norton Security.

Cannot login throught the program.

I have Win 10 x64, Norton 22.16.1.4. (latest) and there has been some times I werent able to login or do anything server related throught the program :

The outcome is always identical :

Login throught my.norton (Chrome) works with no problem.

 

Any solution, have tried a lot of them... None of them works :(

All things mentioned here in post has been verified 3 or 4 times.

Will check the fast startup option also.

Did you try resetting your default browser as noted in Sunil's post above? If that helps, you can always reset the default to your preferred browser.

Also, as you are on Win 10, have you disabled the Windows Fast Startup feature?  If you use Windows 8/8.1 or 10, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. See more information here.

Yes all correct, newely updated and instaled from fresh install.

So guess this is just because of the init app error.
Have tried all the solution to fix for this version. Cannot :(

22.16.1.4 is only available from a fresh install, or by running Norton Removal and Reinstall Tool.

All: The latest version of Norton is 22.16.0.247 via live update, not 22.16.1.4. as the OP states.

Thanks for reporting in Norton Community Forums. Can you please try below steps and let us know the issues status?

1. Restart your computer

  1. Exit all programs. 
     
  2. Restart computer. 

    If the problem persists, goto step 2. 

2. Set a default web browser

  1. On your Windows desktop, go to Start > Settings > System
     
  2. Click Default apps
     
  3. Under Web browser, select the web browser that you want to set as default. 
     
  4. Try account sign in from Norton main scree.

Are you sure about that version number? I have 22.16.0.247. I haven't seen 22.16.1.4. Is that a Beta version or one that is given out by an ISP? Have you turned off Fast Startup? Have you restarted your computer? Are you using the Core?
