SymSnapService if you are using a 64-bit OS and the location string should say:
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Norton Ghost\Shared\Drivers\SymSnapServicex64.exe”
You will have to use: C:\Windows\System32\regedt32.exe and fix the location string. Remember to use Computer Quotes not “”
To fix the problem, look for the following string:
“C:\Program Files\Norton Ghost\Shared\Drivers\SymSnapService.exe”
And replace it with this one.
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Norton Ghost\Shared\Drivers\SymSnapServicex64.exe”
On my Desktop I found two of these strings. On my Laptop I only found one.
<!-- [if gte vml 1]>

OK, now try to start a Backup with Ghost 14.
Did everything work ok?
Good you’re done.
