Error EBAB0013 fsFileOffset<m_u64CurrentFileSize

When I attempt to create an image of a new computer for the first time I get the error EBAB0013 ... fsFileOffset<m_u64CurrentFileSize.  The error occurs after running for several hours and the image is deleted from the network share.  I am running 64 bit windows 7 professional on a HP p6523w.  The share being backed up to is on a NAS that other computers have created images to.  The network drive has plenty of freee space.

Hi,

I found this Support article about it: http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20090601142435EN&ln=en_US

Can you please try it first, and then let us know how it goes?

Sorry.  Tried that and got the same error. The full text of the error is:

Ghost is a 32-bit program, but both version should be OK on 64-bit systems (thanks to WOW64), but there has been some riports about installation and other issues.

I will ask some extra help for you about this issue from Symantec.

Until than please be a little bit more patient :), and please give us the exact version number of your Ghost you have on the machine. Thanks.

I' running Wndows 7 64 bit on a HP p6523w.

AMD ATHLON II X2 220 2.8GHZ

5GB RAM 4.75 usable

640GB hard disc 422GB free

Backing up to a 2TB usb drive attached to a Linksys DSM-G600 NAS (old but it works).

I am able to generate images on 2 notebook using ghost 15.  The biggest differances are the notebooks are intel and windows 7 home premium.  The desktop I'm having problems with is amd and windows 7 professional.  Come to think of it both notebooks are 64 bit.

The ghost version is 15.0.1.36526.

Hi howlie,

I would suggest you to edit the backup settings and uncheck the option to Verify image after creation. Then run the backup again.

Sorry.  That wasn't set.
