Error ED800012

Let me start by communicating to this Norton Community how much I dislike the Symantec Product Line.  I don't like it.

Norton products have typically failed to do what they're called to do because they are not robust products.

Currently, the issue is that I have Norton Ghost 15 system backups which won't restore.  So, when it comes times to use the files that I have actually invested in to safeguard me, they are not accessible.  Now I am here pleading for help on a product whose soul function was to be there for me.

Here is the error: "Error ED800012: The internal structure of the recovery point file (Last File Frame) is invalid, damaged or unsupported."

Please give me a work around to gain access to this file.

By the way, I have over 10 of these system backups, all giving me the same error.  I am attempting to access these backups from another windows machine.

By the way, I am using system recovery cd, attempting to perform a restore on these non-usable files only to discover that the network adapter is not activated on the boot os.
