I have an error message on vulnerability protection I can't get to go away. If I disable and then try to enable protection again, the error icon returns and won't tell me what to do. I am running Norton Confidential Version 1.3.3 (65) as part of Norton Internet Security for Mac. I also get weekly automatic updates.
I just keep getting this message: The Vulnerability Protection feature could not be started because an error occurred. Changes to settings will not take effect until the error is fixed.
Thanks Paul for your suggestion. I went to the online chat service and worked with a Symantec tech person to resolve the problem. He downloaded an updated file which worked to solve the problem.
