Error installing Norton Safety Minder

I have tried downloading and installing Safety Minder many times, but I continue to get the same error.

 

"This version of Norton Safety Minder requires Norton Online Framework to be installed first."  I just installed Norton Internet Security 2011 and my understanding is that should include the online Framework.  I had to restore this PC recently and when I reinstalled Norton Internet Security 2011 and tried to set up Parental Controls I ran into this problem.

can you please tell us on which Windows OS and Service Pack did you get this error. Plus what is your Norton Internet Security 2011's exact version number (Help &Support -> About, it will look like this: 18.5.0.125)?

 

According to my knowledge, the Norton Safety Minder will install all the required features and frameworks as well, there's no need to run it with NIS or Norton 360.

Can you send me the same page? I have uninstalled Online Family after the activity stopped being logged. Now when I try to reinstall it, I keep getting the same message about the framework. Im operating MS Windows 7, and Norton Internet Security 2011.

I also am having these problems.  I have Windows Vista.  My online safety minder was working fine until I downloaded Norton Internet Security 2011 today.  I'm getting the same error as these others.  Please help!

I am also having the same problem in trying to re-insatll Norton Safety minder getting the message that i need to install norton online framework first .  I am running Norton Internet Security on a Windows 7 machine.  Please can you help?
