Error message 8504,101 - important

Hi--can you pls help. every time i log off and log back into my PC overnight--Norton has an error message 8504,101 --i have to uninstall norton and reinstall prettty much every day. this cannot continue as crazy..can you pls help me? thanks Allen

 I am also having the same issue. I've tried using the uninstall reinstall program to no avail. It looks as if my Norton isn't working at all right now. I'm not very computer literate. Any help resolving this issue would be great. Remember computer illiterate. Talk in laymans terms to me.

Hi i am also having this problem, but i cant even turn my laptop off. Does anybody know what we can do to stop this very annoying problem. Any help appreciated.

Steps that you can try:

1. Run the Check Disk Utility (chkdsk /f) to fix system file errors.

2. Check if the Terminal Services & Remote Procedure Call service is started and set to Automatic.

3. Download & run the Norton Power Eraser tool to check for threats:
