Error message "Identity Safe has stopped" on Android tablet

Norton Identity Safe Password 5.3 on my Samsung tablet (running Android 4.1.2) tries to start, but after about 5 seconds,  I get an error message: Norton Identity Safe has stopped.  Have cleared cache and data and have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, but to no avail:  Same problem. 

I was told by Norton Support that because the app is free, there is no escalation to higher level support.  So you folks are my last hope to get Identity Safe working again.  Has anyone seen this problem?
