Error message when installing NIS2010 over NIS2009

Hi,

 

I used the Norton download service to download NIS2010.

 

Partway through the install I had this error message: "The language set of this upgrade does not match that of the currently installed product"

 

The web help link on the screen recognises this error and says I have to uninstall NIS2009 and then reinstall NIS2010 using Program and Features in Control Panel.

 

Will this procedure uninstall NIS 2009 to the required effectiveness? I can't use the Norton Removal Tool as I have Norton Ghost 14 installed.

 

Am wary of uninstalling NIS2009 and then finding I can't complete the install of NIS2010 and am left with no security.

 

I do have the excellent Revo uninstaller which I could use to fully uninstall NIS2009 (assuming a clean uninstall is required).

 

Any advice greatly appreciated.
