Error message when log in to NOF, Sorry, An error has occurred on the server

Last few days, I keep getting the error message when log in to NOF, the error message is 

Sorry, An error has occurred on the server.
Please, try your request again later.
An error has occurred with our service, your data is safe, but for your protection and to prevent any possible loss of data your request was halted. The error has been logged and reported and we will look into it shortly.
Please return to the home page and log in again. If the problem persists, contact us for assistance.

 

Any idea?

Same problem. Furthermore, after updating to the new NOF, my PC is not connecting anymore to the internet, this with any browser I try.

Same problem here and the internet access from any browser is VERY VERY VERY SLOW.

In addition i am unable to log in in my account and unistall the product.

Same issue on XP SP3  with chrome23 / IE8 / opera 12 . and I  have not allowed to login parent accout which was OK before this update .

I have just  uninnstalled by following steps.

 

1.  kill NOF process and remove task scheduler entry.

2. disable network.

3. uninstall NOF.

enter email address and password. 

   next dialog appears -- it means system skipped account check.

click "next". 

4. reboot

5. enable network

 

NOTE: I could not click "next" by safe mode boot because "next" buttom is too right side to show in window 640x480 size VGA (safe mode boot). 

I am having the same problem since 3 to 4 days. I have uninstalled the software and I cannot intall it now, so my children are unsafe. Very bad news. I hope you find a solution quickly.

same for me it does not work for last  five days can not recognice password too

I managed to access and change the settings just now!  YAY.  However, it was not by clicking the normal Online Family icon. I have copied the web address - https://onlinefamily.norton.com/familysafety/loginStart.fs

I have now set rules for myself which pretty much cover all the waking hours but, more importantly, will not lock me out when rules are breached, only to send me an email.  So in future the whole family won't be locked out all at the same time. :smileyfrustrated:

 

Maybe this problem has actually been sorted for all. In the absence of such an indication on the discussion board, I hope the above link will be useful to everyone affected. :smileyhappy:
