Hi all,
I purchased Ghost 15 earlier this week after successfully using an older version at my last firm. It said it was Win7 32 & 64 bit compatible.
I have a HP 1330 desktop PC, 64bit WIN7. I have built the machine and then I cold booted with the original ISO created Ghost disk CDROM. Booted into the Ghost interface and then created a W2i image file on an external 900GB Seagate hard disk.
I then purchased 2 new machines of the same model and am trying to restore the Image, so cold booted into the disk as above and then selected restore from file. Browsed to the external disk and selected the file but I am getting the below error:
"Please insert the recovery disk" "Press OK to continue or CANCEL to abort" when I click OK nothing happens when I click cancel, get "Error EA730002: cannot find the driver database directory".
I have searched the forum with others getting the same error "http://community.norton.com/t5/Other-Norton-Products/quot-please-insert-the-recivery-disk-quot-when-use-norton-ghost/m-p/179737/highlight/true#M16700" but I still cannot get GHOST to work and am losing patience.
Can someone advise??
