ERROR: Symantec Service Framework is not responding

Hi,

 

I`m getting this warning every time I try to enable the Performance Monitor. In reality this is exactly the same error described with full detail in this post (I cannot explain better than there).

I have Norton Antivirus version 20.2.1.22 (althouigh the behaviour was the same with the previous version 20.2.0.19).

My OS is Windows 7 64 bits build 7601 SP1

 

Unfortunately there is no hint of a possible solution in that thread, just the reply of Tim Lopez to the OP telling him that he has sent a Private Message.

 

I would appreciate any help to solve this issue,
