Error when logging in to Identity Safe Online vault

It appears to be getting worse....

Now i followed your instructions to wipe both the online and local Identity Safe.

That seem to go just as described.

 

Then I attempted to "Set Up Identity Safe" and put in a password twice.

Now i get an error:

"

Error

The system has encountered an unexpected error. Unable to setup Identity Safe.

Please try again later.

"

and an "OK" button is the only choice.

Please note I have not even tried to import any previous backup yet and still get this error.....

OK, I waited 5 minutes and tried again and now it has let me setup Identity Safe.

 

I tried to login to identitysafe.norton.com before I imported anything and it finnaly works.

 

I will now try an import...

Good to know things are set untill setup and login. Please do update us after import.

As Allen pointed out, her issue was solved today and hope so even yours will be solved.

OK, when importing post-2012 backups, i get the same error.

But when I used my back up from 2011, ALL of identity safe seems to be working and without the duplicated logins as well.

  1. Logging into identitysafe.norton.com now works.
  2. Local identity Safe shows all logins without dupes.

Thanks for everyone's help.  I'll accept this as a solution even though I'll have to go through and try to remember some older passwords.
