According to a symantec employee there was an issue with the virus definitions posting that could have caused my computer to download the full set of virus definitions instead of just an update. Now I have just run live update and found that two instances of the Norton IPS definitions were downloaded at once. Can someone from Symantec please give me an explanation as to why this happened. I'm concern as this is the IPS definitions which are important. Surely this is not another error with the definitions posting, One mistake I can except, but two within the space of a couple of weeks is a bit much.
