I had an issue with my 360 and utilities since December 2024. It has been escalated and I have been waiting since the start of this year.
My subscription service ends in August for utilities and although it appears to be working in some ways, the issue in question which has been with the internal team for months has always been present. Effectively, my subscription for utilities has not been fully working for over half its life span, at the very least.
I have been told time again it has been escalated to the highest team and regular agents cannot provide an update. Has anyone else experienced such a long wait with an issue?
A quick synopsis of the issues, last year utilities stopped being able to defrag my drives. 360 then encountered an issue where everything that needed an internet connection on my computer suddently needed Norton 360 authorisation. Then soon after, utlities was unable to clear a load of windows files it usually would not have an issue with.
I contacted Norton and they went remotely onto my computer a few occaaions and was unable to fix the issues. This was at the start of this year and I have been left to wait since with no check up contact at any time.
I keep contacting Norton and only get the same response, that it has been escalated to the highest team and that they have no other information.
Has anyone else had the same issues with utilities recently? I use the same apps on my son’s computer with the same log in and he has the exact same issues I am having. Cannot defrag the drives via Norton and despite clearing the regular files and data, it cannot clear a certain number of windows files. Obviously this confirms it is not exclusive to my computer only but cannot find any recent info online of any other users experiencing the same problems. So now unsure if it is just my log in or it is currently widespread and Norton or working on it based on it being a problem with their software, rather than just a problem solely with my account or computers?
