On windows XP , when starting the program excel only, and in any ways, Microsoft wants to configure XP standard, try to find the install disk. This disk is not availlable and causes a waste of time each time Excel is launched.
Microsoft has a KB article on this which PapauZ obviously knows about .....
You need to discuss this with Microsoft since it has nothing to do with Norton products -- I know because I've had the situation but I had the CD.
It can relate to Service Pack updates for Office and for anyone anywhere to help you you need to say what version of OFFICE / Excel you have and what version of Windows.

I didn't know about or found any... :P :(
Only some forums where people advised to run a repair installation of Office...
But the easiest is to get a setup cd (you have to solve this alone....), put that in, and it will fix the file it is missing or corrupted... After that go to Microsoft Update, and install every service pack and patch for your Office.
If it didn't help, please contact the Microsoft Support Center. http://support.microsoft.com/
Hi FranckB, while we’re glad you are posting your issues to our forums, this board is for Norton Internet Security/Norton AntiVirus discussions only. I’d recommend using the Microsoft support link from PapauZ for this type of discussion. Thanks!
