Exclusion Lists

Hello, fellow Norton users

I'm wondering if there's been any action taken on adding the ability to export the Scan & SONAR/AutoProtect/Download Exclusions lists, so as to import them to a new build, rather than having to laboriously copy & paste them into the two lists manually?  While it would appear that this information is stored @ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Norton\{0C55C096-0F1D-4F28-AAA2-85EF591126E7}\Common Client\ccGenericEvent\Global\Providers\{2511C80E-0822-47AA-9A61-094F61B41A39} (GUID's may be exclusive to the particular build I copied this from?), I have not yet been able to confirm this is indeed the case, and I haven't been able to discern any built-in functionality for this on this box's build (W7 Home Premium SP1 w/ N360 v. 20.4.0.40/Curr. SKU 21236413/Fam. SKU 21228661).

As there are so many folks who know more about this than I, I'm hoping someone will have some good info...

If you are referring to building a new computer, I do not think there is any way to save and restore those kinds of settings.

As Dick mentions, if you are just upgrading your Norton product, the settings should survive. The exception to this is if you do a full uninstall before installing a newer version of Norton. Then you would probably lose your settings.
