Facebook Scan runs for hours and never ends

I have tried to run the FB scan a number of time.  It just runs for hours and never ends.  What should I expect and how long should it take?

You need to disable the secure browsing (https) options under Facebook Account -> Account Settings -> Account Security settings. You can see a clear explanation of this problem from MJP (symantec employee) here:
