I finally invested in a Samsung 840 Pro series SSD 256 GB and "Cloned" it using .v2i files created with SSR 2013, I purposely bought a slightly bigger drive than the existing HDD.
Unfortunately I had to use the Win 7 repair option to get it to work, as a result I "lost" Win XP Pro off the boot menu and had to use Easy BCD to add it on later and modify the default wording.
The operation went well, using the "Image-Transfer" method, I ticked all the relative boxes for each of the 6 O/Ss and used SSRs default settings where appropriate and it would not boot, some message about BCD missing repair the O/S on the black screen, which I did.
When booting into both Win 7 O/Ss the loading screen is similar to that of Vista, (no sun like graphic) at the end of the day I am not happy with SSR because it should "Clone" like for like.
Later on in the week I will run the exersize again but this time with my trusted Ghost 12 recovery disk.
At the moment I am running on the SSD and it is a lot faster than the HDD and I am very pleased with the performance, pity SSR can't "Clone" it without a repair.
