Failed to add your mac to your Norton Management Account

I tried support with no success.... I was chatting for well over 30 minutes and sent from one department to another. And never got an answer.

Norton automatically renewed my license. I have a new computer MacBook Pro (2014) and tried to install it there. I followed the directions to delete my old computer and to add my new one, which was successful

I went to download my PAID subscription and got this message "Failed to add your mac to your Norton Management Account" (see screenshot-I blacked out my email). This was a RENEWAL of all software... I asked support for my money back and was given the run around. So before I proceed with that option, I thought I would ask the community for help.

Macintosh Configuration:

*  MBP; OS 10.9.5; 3 GHz Intel Core i7; 16GB memory;  500Gb hard drive; 40Gb space available

I am a computer consultant so I have tried everything I can think of and I keep getting the same problem
