Issue abstract: Failed to remove malware pop-up windows

Detailed description: Purchased Norton from their website and downloaded latest version. Ran quick scan and it said that it found and corrected two malware problems. Rebooted and the pop-ups reappeared. I then ran a full scan and nothing was found.

OS details: Windows 11

What is the error message you are seeing? continuous pop-ups on right side of screen for Norton/MacAfee renewal malware ads.

Check the control panel, then add or remove programs, find it, and remove it from there.
