I am running Windows 10 Pro Version 2OH2, Build 19042.789 on two desktops (wired) and one Surface Pro 3 (wireless). This morning, Norton Security (version 22.20.5.39) update failed with the same error on all three machines. Automated fix and reboot did not solve the problem on any of the machines. No new software or hardware has been added and the internet connection is solid. Very rarely have I had update errors - perhaps a handful of times in over 20 years - so this was both unexpected and unusual. I installed Windows 10 updates later on all three machines without issue and then tried Norton update again with the same failed result. Does anyone have a suggestion?
My understanding is that NortonLifeLock is aware that users are seeing LiveUpdate Error 8920,208.
